Patricia Jeanne DeMoss

DeMoss, Patricia Jeanne - Age 93, of Flushing, passed away Monday, February 9, 2026 surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, February 13, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via Patricia's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor Tina R. Koon officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 4-7 PM; and Friday from 9 AM until the time of the service.

Patricia was born on September 12, 1932, in Flint, the daughter of Forrest Jeffery and Mildred Jane (Paull) Opie. She was a graduate of Flint Tech High School. She retired from D&N Savings Bank (Citizens Bank) after 43 years of service. Attending church as a child with her Grandma Opie, Patricia was deeply rooted in her love for Jesus Christ. She became a long-time member of Resurrection Reformed Church in Flint, serving many of those years as an Elder, Stephens Minister, and Mentor. Patricia also proudly served in her Christian clown ministry as “Kristy Ann”. Patricia enjoyed music, dancing, and taking road trips with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Denise (Thomas) Kilpatrick of Flushing, Deborah (John) Swanson of Marne, Darcia (Bart) Bierer of Severville, TN, and Jane (Kelly) Peasley of Au Gres. And preceded in death by her daughters; Diane Purcell and Darla Ruegsegger.

Patricia had such an abundance of love for her family particularly for her grandchildren; Robert (Stacey) Bradley, Joseph (Cristy) Sak, Mark (Kelly) Purcell, Jeffery (Kelly) Purcell, Scott (Ania) Swanson, Victoria (Michael) Youngblood, Rebecca (Jason) Fraser, Dakota (Claire) Peasley, and Jacob Peasley,

As well she leaves behind many great grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; brother-in-law; Bill Cramer and two nephews.
