Patricia Ann MRASEK

MRASEK, Patricia Ann -- Age 80, of Flushing, died February 15, 2013. Services will be 1 PM Tuesday, February 19 at First Presbyterian Church, 746 S. Saginaw St., Flint, Pastor Paul Ytterock officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint; and 12 Noon until the time of the service Tuesday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the First Presbyterian Church or charity of ones choice. Patricia was born September 8, 1932 in Flint the daughter of Barney and Wilda (Carter) Durgan. She married John L. Mrasek on May 10, 1952 in Flint; he preceded her in death October 30, 1998. She earned her Masters Degree from U of M. She worked as a Psychiatric Nurse at McLaren for over 30 years. Surviving are: three children, Mary Ittigson of Grand Blanc, David Mrasek of Grand Blanc, Matthew (Bonnie) Mrasek of Swartz Creek; four grandchildren to whom she was "Nana", Andrew (Nichole) Mrasek of Shrewsbury, England, Sara Mrasek (Zak Dean) of Los Angeles, CA, Stacey Byrnes (Steven Barnes)of Swartz Creek, Bernie (Toni)Byrnes of Mt. Morris; six great-grandchildren, Samantha, Riley, Megan, Tyler, Cameron, Ryder; and her constant companion, her cat, Patrick.
