WALTER, Patricia "Pat" Ann - Age 85, of Grand Blanc, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026. Services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, April 24, 2026 at Faith Lutheran Church, 12534 Holly Road, Grand Blanc. Pastor Bob Scott officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Friday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Grand Blanc Women's Club or the Grand Blanc American Legion Auxiliary Post 413, in Pat's name.
Pat was born June 11, 1940 in Saginaw, the daughter of Ernest and Valerie (Wachowicz) Podojak. She received a Associates Degree in Social Work from Mott Community College. She married Delos G. "Jerry" Walter July 26, 1980 in Flint. She had been employed by Carman Ainsworth Community School as a Councilor; and also had been employed by Hamady Brothers as a meat wrapper. Pat was a member Faith Lutheran Church, Grand Blanc; and was a former member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. She also was a member and past president of the Grand Blanc Women's Club, the Grand Blanc American Legion Auxiliary Post 413, and she was a volunteer for hospice. She enjoyed, cooking, line dancing, crafting, gardening, and college football (she was an avid University of Michigan football fan).
Surviving are: her husband, Jerry; children, Scott (Priscilla) Herm of Washington Township, Sheryl (Curtis) Adair of Lennon, Jill (Eric) Lockwood of Texas, and John (Gena) Walter of Owosso; grandchildren, Logan (Christine), Sydney, Cody (Erica), Cassidy, Jessica, Zachary, Meredith, Alyssa (Jadyn), Lexi; great grandchildren, Dexter, Zoe, Quinn, Juliana, Ayda, Deaken, and Bennett; sister, Mary (Roy) Bishop; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert and Joseph Podojak; sister, Delores "Dodie" Scott. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
