Patricia Shifflet

SHIFFLET, Patricia Louise - age 78, of Flushing, died Wednesday, February 28, 2018. A memorial dinner will be announced at a later date. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Hospice House of Shiawassee County, 2005 Copas Rd, Owosso, MI 48867. Patricia was born November 3, 1939 in Ahmeek, MI, the daughter of Clarence and Emily (Scholar) Weycker. Pat lived in Flint until 1984 moving to Dade City, FL and moved back to Flint in 2016 after her cancer diagnosis. She enjoyed many years of bowling, Bingo, card games, pool and the casinos. Pat was an honorary member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles for over 40 years. Surviving are: children, Brian (Mona) Hughes, Joan Hughes, Shelly Ragland, Christopher (Phyllis) Shifflet, Julia Gritzinger, and William Shifflet; daughter-in-law, Dana Hughes; grandchildren, Amanda (Tony), Kristin, Courtney (Rachel), Samantha, Angela (DeShawn), Danny, Jessica, Chad, Rhiannon, Jocele, Brandon, Josh, Joel, and Marla; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and other extended Florida family from Country Aire Estates in Dade City. She was preceded in death by: husband, Willard Shifflet and son, David Hughes. The family extends a special thank you to McLaren Hospice and the Hospice House of Shiawasee County.
