Patricia Jean SWANINGER

SWANINGER, Patricia Jean - age 75, of Fenton, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Caretel Inns of Linden. Services will be held 10 AM Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Friday and 9 AM until time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association. Patricia was born February 8, 1939 in Flint, the daughter of John and Esther (Gronemeyer) McCarthy. She married Thomas Swaninger on April 16, 1989. Patricia retired from GMSPO in 2000 as an accountant after 34 years of service. She loved to travel and traveled all over the world. Patricia was a wonderful wife and great mother who will be missed by: her husband, Tom; four children, Robin (Kevin) Harris of OK, Rene Waltmire of KY, David Swaninger of Fenton, Krista (Riyad) Fares of OR; five grandchildren, Adam, Katie, Hana, Laila, and Zane.
