Patrick was born November 7, 1938 in Rankin, the son of Willis and Carletta (Putman) Henry. He married Christina Pavlica on December 17, 1970. Patrick worked for Fisher Body #1 and then Buick Motor until his retirement in 2000. He was a committeeman for several years, and was a volunteer Fireman for the Swartz Creek Fire Department. He served in the U.S. Marines from 1957-1960 and was also a member of the VFW Amvets Swartz Creek Post 3720. Pat (Bubba) as people so fondly liked to call him, enjoyed riding his Red Devil and Later the Blue Goose. He loved camping with his family and friends, taking long rides, and he was known to like to have a Bud Lite or two . His Favorite holiday was Halloween. He had more fun on Halloween probably than most kids. He never met a person he didn't like, or that they didn't like him. "I always used to tell people I had 5 kids and no husband, because he always acted like a kid himself." He was a prankster, this is something that anyone who knew him, knew this. And, believe me, it was hard to get one over on him. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 44 years, Christine (Chris); children, Ranae Davis, Patty (Steve) Stultz, Bobbie (Joe) Thompson and Steve (Karin) Henry; granchildren, Jenn (Chad), Quinn (Jim), Jackie (Alex), Shane, and Chloe; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Myles, Jimmy, Zane and Tatum. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Jack and George, sisters Bonnie Baker and her husband Dick, and Ella Mae Halka and her husband Donald. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Eilander and his staff at the McLaren Cancer Center, and Dr. Wadenstorer for his many years of taking care of Pat, also McLaren Hospice for comforting Pat and his family.
