Patrick James Rupp

RUPP, Patrick James — Age 83, of Grand Blanc, passed away June 28, 2026.

Patrick was born May 17, 1943 in Martinsferry, Ohio, the son of Charles and Elspeth (Stanton) Rupp. He served in the U.S. Army and played on the Army Baseball Team in Korea. He married Louella Schell on September 30, 1970. He retired from General Motors - Buick with 37 years of service. He was a life member of the Fenton VFW Post 3243. Pat loved hunting, fishing, golf, bowling, and playing blooper ball. He loved his family and enjoyed being very involved with his grandson, Andrew.

Surviving are; his wife of 55 years, Louella; children, Mark (Jennifer) Rupp, Becky (Randy) Cates, John (Tomiann) Szewczyk, Gordie Szewczyk; grandchildren, Andrew, Tiffany, Lacey, John Lee, and Josh; great-grandchildren, Lexy, Connor, Ben and Julian; siblings, Chuck (Linda) Rupp, Elspeth Ann Long, Tom (Barbara) Rupp, Suellen (Mike) Thomas, Michael (Paulette) Rupp, Nell (Loren) Bell; many nieces and nephews.
