STOTT, Patrick Joseph - age 74, of Fenton, passed away September 27, 2025. A committal service with Marine Corp honors will be held 2:30 PM Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI. Patrick was born January 20, 1951, in Mason, MI, the son of Richard Gisbert and Esther Anna (Culliton) Stott. He married Vicky Romine on February 14, 1976, and she preceded him in death on January 11, 2021. Patrick was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and later served with the U.S. Air Force Reserve. He retired as a Deputy Sheriff with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department and was honored with a Michigan State House of Representatives resolution and recognition for his bravery in stopping an escape attempt from the old Wayne County Jail, during which his partner lost his life. Patrick was a deeply devoted family man. He was an avid fan of all Detroit sports, enjoyed playing blackjack, and spending time at the casinos. He especially loved sharing stories with his high school friends from Riverside High School and reminiscing with his Marine Corps brothers. Surviving are: daughter, Shannon (Josh) Delecki of Fenton; grandchildren, Brayden Delecki and Kenzie Delecki; special sister, Pamela (Anthony) Morales; nephews, Anthony Morales II, Jeffrey Morales, Kevin Morales. Patrick was preceded in death by his wife, Vicky and his parents, Esther and Richard Stott. Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden, MI 48451.
