Patrick George Urbin, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Fenton, Michigan, on May 6, 2025, with his wife, Kathy, by his side. Born on January 7, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan, Patrick lived a life characterized by dedication, service, and love. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Patrick enlisted after high school, demonstrating his commitment to serving his country. He subsequently enjoyed a fulfilling career at General Motors, from which he retired in 2006. His hands were never still, as he found joy in woodworking, farming, and gardening. Patrick's family was his greatest treasure. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, George (Teneka) Urbin; daughter, Mary Urbin; three cherished grandchildren, Chandler, Camren, and Paris; and several great-grandchildren, who all brought immeasurable joy to his life. He is also survived by his brother, Jim Urbin. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Clara Urbin; two daughters, Michelle and Melissa Urbin, who left this world in 1991; his brother, Jerry Urbin; and two sisters-in-law, Terry Urbin and Sharon Urbin. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, May 9, 2025 at the Chapel of the Holy Innocents at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, located at 600 N. Adelaide Street, Fenton, MI 48430 with Rev. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church.
