Paul L. Bruner, age 73, of Linden, passed away in June 4, 2026. Visitation will be held at 11am-2pm and 4pm-8pm, Monday, June 29, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes & Cremation Center. Visitation will resume the following day at 11am till the time of the Funeral Service at 1pm on, Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road in Grand Blanc. Paul lived in Aurora, Illinois where he spent his childhood and went to school. He moved to Michigan and worked for General Motors for 42 years. He married Brenda Ingram on December 31, 1997 and they were together from that day forward with unsurpassed love in their hearts for each other. He loved his family and was a good provider. He took care of his family.
He loved music and his genre was rock and roll. He listened to rock and roll often, and his favorite band was "The Who". Paul loved going to rock and roll concerts and enjoying good food. He watched The Wheel of Fortune, The Price is Right and Let's Make a Deal. His favorite TV show was Supernatural. Having lived in Illinois he was a Chicago Bears fan and never missed a televised game. He also loved wrestling. He loved cool cars and had many in his life, among those was a '70 Cuda, two Camaro Z-28's, a Pontiac Firebird Trans AM, and a BMW. Paul also enjoyed coin collecting and trains. He had several trains sets over his life.
Paul was very smart and kept household finances in his head like a checkbook record keeper. He had the type of personality that attracted people and acquired many friends and acquaintances during his tenure as General Motors. He was a simple man with simple pleasures.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John (Joan) Bruner; and his cousin, Jeff Harris.
Paul is survived by his spouse, Brenda Bruner; son Arthur Bruner; step-daughter, Chanda (Brant) Ryckman; his siblings, Julie (Mark) Schraeder, Lester Bruner, Keith Bruner, Kevin Bruner, Shannon (Daniel) Bailey, Chad Bruner, Stacy Templeton and Vickie Meisel.
