Paul J. DiMartino

DiMartino, Paul Joseph- age 62, passed away unexpectedly, and peacefully, on May 11th, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Paul was born April 30th, 1963 in Detroit, Michigan. The son of Silvio Joseph and Eleanor Rita (Shubitowski) DiMartino. He worked, and retired, from the State of Michigan as a corrections officer. Paul was a very hardworking man. He always took care of his family, by any means necessary. He was their rock, and the backbone of his family. He always protected them, and would help anyone he could. Paul’s true passions were his children, and especially, his four grandchildren. He simply loved to have a good time! At any gathering, he was always the life of the party. He loved music, and would never shy away from expressing himself through a song. He was a straight shooter, always telling it how it was. He loved to travel, especially in his van. That was his “Freedom.” He enjoyed building houses and staying in shape. He was a beast, and tough as nails until his last breath! Paul is survived by: three children, Marie DiMartino (Rick Johnson), Tony DiMartino, and Angela DiMartino-Grabowski (Joseph Grabowski); four grandchildren: Makayla, Carter, Hannah, and Bennett; partner, Sherry Howard; four siblings: James DiMartino, Ellen Tupacz, JoAnn Fry, and Mary McCarthy; also, many nieces and nephews.
