MOSCISKI, Paul, age 95, of Flint, died Monday, January 8, 2007 at Fostrian Manor in Flushing. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, January 13, 2007 at St. Pius X, G-3139 Hogarth St., Flint. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Interment will follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Thursday and 1-4 & 6-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek, and 10 AM Saturday until the time of service, at the church. A Rosary will be prayed 6 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church. Paul was born June 20, 1911, in Grand Rapids. He was separated at a very young age from his birth family, and later adopted by Paul and Wladyslava 'Lottie' Mosciski. In years to come Paul was reunited with his siblings, bringing him great joy. He married Anastasia 'Nancy' Gielbargo in Flint on June 22, 1935, and she preceded him in death on March 19, 1981. Paul was employed by General Motors, in the Buick Plant, as a machine operator, retiring in 1971. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and St. Pius Catholic Church. In Paul's heart he was a farmer. He loved gardening and growing all types of produce, flowers, and even trees. He raised pigs, chickens and always had a dog running around. He was a very loving and caring family man. Each person who visited, left with a car load of fresh vegetables for their family. Paul enjoyed small game hunting and perch fishing with his sons. Surviving are his 3 children, Paul J. (Beverly) Mosciski of Argentine, Richard G. (Louella) Mosciski of Burt Lake and Florida, Carol J. (Robert) Miller  of Flint; 11 grandchildren, Cheryl (Jud) Hanks, Philip (Diane) Mosciski, Cathy (Bob) Kreshok, Andrew (Laura) Mosciski, Tony (Cheril) Popovits, Joan Miller, John Mosciski, Nancy (Todd) Stroub, Pam (Dave) Schott, Stacy (Kip) Martin, Katie Miller; 16 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Alice Bair of Lansing. He was preceded in death by his wife Anastasia 'Nancy'; 2 grandsons, Matthew Mosciski, Michael Miller; sister, Marie Sherrod; 4 brothers, Robert Bair, Joseph Sims, Peter Ladonski, Fred Mosciski.
