Pauletta Smirnoff

SMIRNOFF, Pauletta May - age 89, of Flint, died Monday, October 6, 2014 at her residence. Services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Fenton Road Baptist Church, G-4386 Fenton Rd., Flint with Pastor Jerry Stallard officiating. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Humane Society. Mrs. Smirnoff was born March 19, 1925 in Gilmer, WV, the daughter of John R. and Opal V. (Shue) Floyd. She married John Smirnoff and he preceded her in death on July 17, 2007. She retired from General Motors. Pauletta had handmade porcelain dolls and owned Pauletta's Dolls for many years. Surviving are: daughter, Cheryl Brunske of TN; son, Gerald Smirnoff of Flint; three grandchildren, Adam, Shawn and Lynette; three great-grandchildren, Hannah, Joshua and Nolan; sisters, Marion (Richard) Fetchik, Betty (James) Matherley; brother, Hansford (Barbara) Floyd.
