Pauline Fishler – Age 97, of Flint, passed away peacefully on May 19. 2026 at the Woodhaven Senior Community. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at 11AM, in the Chapel of Machpelah Cemetery, 4701 Branch Road, Flint 48506.
Pauline was born on November 4, 1928, in Flint, Michigan, to Joseph and Pauline Alice Chayet Berman. She married Joseph Fishler on January 19, 1947, and they had three children: Sheron, Emily, and Bruce (who preceded her in death). Pauline was primarily a homemaker and also worked in sales at several jewelry stores, including one she co-owned with her husband. Over the years, she was also active in the Flint community.
Pauline is predeceased by husband Joseph and son Bruce. She is survived by daughters Sheron (and husband Don Resnick) and Emily (and husband Leon Cassuto), as well as five grandchildren: Rebecca (and husband Michael Driskill), Steven (and wife Mindy Resnick), Colin, Ian, and Hillary (and husband Richard Howard); two great-grandchildren: James and Shae; and many dearly loved nieces and nephews.
Pauline was a life-long resident of Flint. She was known and loved by a great many people throughout her long life, and she’ll be greatly missed.
