GIOVANNINI, Peter T. - Age 79, of Fenton, died Thursday, July 28, 2011. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, August 1, 2011 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 6481 Faussett Rd., Howell. Fr. Gregg Pleiness celebrant. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Saturday, 1-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton and from 10 AM until the time of Mass Monday at Church. A Rosary will be held 7 PM Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the National Parkinson Foundation or Muscular Dystrophy Association. Peter was born August 22, 1931, the son of Peter and Velia Giovannini. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Surviving are: sons, Ken of Oxford, David (Christy) of Orlando, FL; daughter-in-law, Patti of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Dominic, Jami, Marin, Anthony, Gabrielle, Paul, Anna, Jason and Peyton; brothers, Richard (Nan) and Gary (Karen);sister, Pamela (Dave)Schuster; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Greg and Jeannine Whitten and the rest of the picnic crew.
