Philip Hynes WICKERSHAM

WICKERSHAM, Dr. Philip Hynes -- Age 79, of Fenton, died January 3, 2013 at Genesys Hospice Care Center, Goodrich. Services will be 2 PM Monday, January 14 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be from 1:30 PM until the time of service Monday. A memorial gathering will be held immediately following the 2PM service until 6:30PM at the Holly VFW post 5587, 201 Airport Dr., Holly MI. 48442. Those desiring may make contributions to the Flint Area Unity Council of Alcoholics Anonymous, PO Box 465, Flint, 48501. He was born October 31, 1933 in Owensboro, KY, the son of Arthur Gordon Wickersham Sr. and Susan (Hynes) Wickersham. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Aircorps serving in Korea. Dr. Wickersham worked as an educator and counselor. He was most recently the owner and operator of Procare. Surviving are: brother Arthur Gordon Wickersham Jr. of Fullerton, CA; sister Mary Louise Wickersham of Fox Grove, IL; two sons; James Wickersham, and Geoffrey Wickersham; and grandchildren.
