Phillip Edward Gerding

Gerding, Phillip Edward - Age 64, of Burton, passed away September 30, 2026. A memorial will be announced. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48507.

Phillip was born July 31, 1962 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Ronald Christopher Gerding and Thelma Jean (Collins) Gerding. He was a 1980 graduate of Bendle High School. He loved his motorcycles. He enjoyed gardening and listening to Rock music. He adored his grand-babies.

Surviving are: longtime significant other, Lori Rivard; step-daughter Jessica (Nick) Jenkins; grandchildren, Marley, Milo and Millie Jenkins; Daisy and Ila Carey; brother David (Jayme) Gerding.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Thelma Gerding; and brother James Gerding.
