KINNEY, Phyllis Edwina (Tokarsky) - Age 74, of Fenton, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, July 20, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St, Fenton. Fr. Dwight Ezop and Fr. David Harvey concelebrating. Burial in St. John Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Friday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM and at church Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. A vigil service will be held at the funeral home 7:00 PM Friday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to St. Vincent DePaul. Phyllis was born October 13, 1938 in Dearborn, the daughter of Edward and Wanda (Jackura) Tokarsky. She was a 1956 graduate of Milford High School. She was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Phyllis married Darrell George "Doc" Kinney May 2, 1964 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton and he preceded her in death July 27, 2005. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Surviving are: 2 sons, Patrick and wife Julia Kinney of Fenton and Christopher and wife Mandy Kinney of McKinney, TX; 9 grandchildren, Samantha, Kristina, Joseph, Brooklyn, River, Dustin, Taylor, Jeremiah, and Ethan; mother, Wanda Tokarsky of Fenton; 2 brothers, Edward and wife Sandra Tokarsky and Douglas and wife Susan Tokarsky both of Titusville, FL; several nieces and nephews.
