Phyllis Lorraine Reimel

REIMEL, Phyllis Lorraine - age 93 of Flushing, a former longtime resident of Durand, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Interment will follow at Yerian Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Friday, October 27, 2023, at the funeral home. Mrs. Reimel was born at home in Swartz Creek on January 27, 1930, the daughter of Layton and Lulu (Vincent) Bronson and the youngest of 5 children. She married Floyd C.Reimel on December 15, 1948, and he preceded her in death on February 23, 1986. Surviving are: son, Ronald L. Reimel; daughter, Jamie L. (Gaston) Meacham; five grandchildren, Justin Johnson, Jordan Sain, Jesse Sain, Ryan Meacham and Ashley Debow; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
