Phyllis Thomson

THOMSON, Phyllis Ann- Age 82, Swartz Creek, died Wednesday January 1, 2020. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Private burial will be held at Flint Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Phyllis was born October 5, 1937 in Flint, the daughter of Basil W. and Ann D.(Johnston) Davis. She married Garnet O. Thomson on September 20, 1958 in Flint and he preceded her in death on January 10, 2016. Phyllis was a 1955 graduate of Kearsley High School and retired from the Bell Telephone Company in Flint and Pontiac, where she held a supervisor position. She was a member of ABWA of greater Oakland chapter, past employee of Blanche Bekkering Real Estate Company as a realtor and currently was a realtor for Century 21 Park Place in Fenton. She enjoyed trips to Biloxi Mississippi with Arlene Chumley, dinners with family at the Valley Bistro Restaurant and attending Loose Center in Linden. Phyllis was a independent woman with a heart of gold, and will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Surviving are her two sisters, Carla Thomson and Shirley (Larry) Phillips; several nieces and nephews, great- nieces and nephews and great-great nieces.
