Pong Rourke

ROURKE, Pong Im - age 54, of Linden, died Saturday, September 27, 2014. Services will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Pastor Jack McMaster officiating. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Monday and 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Hope Lodge in Cleveland, OH or the American Cancer Society. Pong was born September 20, 1960 in South Korea. She married Rory J. Rourke on January 12, 1990. Also known as Emo or Angie, she was a loving and caring wife, mother and friend. Angie was an expert shopper and loved a good pair of shoes. She was an extremely giving and selfless person, always putting others needs before her own even during her illness. Left to cherish her memory are: husband, Rory of Linden; daughter, Christina and husband, Matt Dubay of Saginaw and many special friends.
