Ralph Saeger

SAEGER, Ralph Henry- Age 79, of Grand Blanc, died Friday, January 6, 2017. Services will be held 11 AM Friday, March 10 at Good Shepherd Lutheran church, 5496 Lippincott Blvd., Burton, Rev. Gregory E. Ewald officiating. Private committal services at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to the Patient Access Network Foundation or to the family. Ralph was born November 16, 1937 in Pontiac, the son of Henry and Esther (Meyers) Saeger. He married Ruth Stevens on January 20, 1962 and she preceded him in death on January 4, 2000. Ralph was a veteran of the US Air Force. He retried from General Motors - Flint Assembly. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Burton. Ralph enjoyed traveling, fishing and tinkering. He loved visiting with people and spending time with his grandchildren. Ralph is survived by two children, Karen Fitzpatrick of Saline and Kenneth (Pamela) Saeger of Goshen, IN; four grandchildren, Kyle Fitzpatrick, Makala Saeger, Rebecca Saeger, Emily Saeger; two sisters, Lorna Heffelbower, Elaine Miller; several nieces and nephews.
