Ramon Duty

DUTY, Ramon J. - Age 90, of Fenton, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Saturday, March 14, 2020 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. Harvey celebrant.  Visitation will be held 9:30 AM until the time of Mass at church.  Entombment will be 2:00 PM Friday, March 20, 2020 at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Ramon was born April 29, 1929 in Ann Arbor, the son of Madden and Anne (Lasky) Duty.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  Ramon married Amelia Stancato on September 1, 1962 in Garden City.  He worked for General Motors Proving Grounds in Milford and was also a self employed farmer.  He had a great love for working the land and farm life. He was a past member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.  He had a heart for people and helping others through any issue. He was a genuine person and had a heart of gold.

Surviving are: his beloved wife of 57 years, Amelia; two sons, Mark Duty, Eric (Sherri) Duty; and grandson, Vincent Duty.
