Randolph Berdel HOBBS

HOBBS, Randolph Berdel, "Randy" age 59, of Grand Blanc, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be 4:00PM Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Pastor Darrell Bailey officiating. Visitation will be 1:00PM Wednesday until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Randolph was born July 16, 1953 the son of Jackie Hobbs and Patricia Patterson. He married Michele Peterson on September 12, 1992 in Hammond, Indiana. Randy was employed by General Motors as an Industrial Electrician for 30 years, until his retirement in 2002. He was a past member of the Elks Club and a private pilot of single engine, land and sea planes. He enjoyed biking and long distance running. Surviving are his wife, Michele; 4 children, Melissa Hobbs, Jason "Jake" Hobbs, Ryan Hobbs (Elma) , Cedric Hobbs; father, Jackie Hobbs (Ann); mother, Patricia Baker (James); siblings, Gregory Hobbs (Luwana), Jennifer Harrison (Thurston); half-sister, Sarah Hobbs; step-brothers and sister, Cindy Dwiggins, Ronnie Hobbs, Jeff Cook; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and additional loving family members.
