Randy Lee HARDENBURG

HARDENBURG, Randy Lee - Age 55, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, September 27, 2012. Services will be held 5:30 PM Thursday, October 4 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 E. Bristol Rd., Burton, Fr. Steve Anderson officaiting. Those desiring may make contributions to the College Fund for his children's education. Randy was born April 19, 1957 in Flint, the son of Lewis J. and Dorothy N. (Booth) Hardenburg. He married Robin Marie Wild July 14, 1984 in Flushing. He had resided in Swartz Creek for the past 22 years. Randy retired in 2009 from GMSPO in Swartz Creek after 33 years of service. He was a member of AA and the Spirit Riders. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, boating, and riding motorcycles. "Randy gave the gift of life, donating his organs and tissue to help others". Surviving are: wife, Robin; 2 sons, Joshua and Devin Hardenburg both of Swartz Creek; parents, Lewis and Dorothy Hardenburg of Swartz Creek; sister, Cindy (Patrick) MacMillan of Swartz Creek; sisters-in-law, Nina (Junior) Belmarez of Muskegon, Vicki (Brian) O'Neil of Swartz Creek, and Shari (John) Pichey of Flint; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, Haley. He was preceded in death by his brother, Rick Hardenburg; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Milton and Lila Wild; and brother-in-law, Daniel Wild.
