Randy Michael Maksymowski

Randy Michael Maksymowski, of Fenton, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at the age of 63.

Randy was born on November 4, 1963, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Ronald and Kathleen (Whalen) Maksymowski. He was a proud graduate of Fenton High School and spent many years working as an electrician, taking pride in his work and the life he built.

In 1987, Randy married the love of his life, Kelly Vessey. Their story began long before they said "I do," as the two had been inseparable since Randy was 15 and Kelly was 13. Together, they built a life filled with love and companionship. They eventually moved to Arizona, where they owned and operated a daycare for a time. Kelly's passing in 2022 was a tremendous loss for Randy, as she had been his partner and best friend for so much of his life.

A man with a kind heart and a silly sense of humor, Randy brought laughter to those around him. He enjoyed bowling and playing softball, but above all, he cherished his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving brother, and a wonderful uncle who held a special place in the hearts of his nieces and nephews. Randy's kindness, playful spirit, and love for those closest to him will be remembered by all who knew him. He was Catholic, and his faith remained a part of who he was.

Randy is survived by his brothers, Robert (Cindy) Maksymowski, Ronald (Jamie) Maksymowski, Joseph (Julie) Maksymowski, and Herman (Rob) Maksymowski; his sister, Susan Swift; nephews, Bobby, Matthew, and Ronnie; and nieces, Kylie, Meghan, and Allyson. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kelly Maksymowski, and his parents, Ronald and Kathleen Maksymowski.

In accordance with Randy's wishes, cremation has taken place, and no formal services are being held at this time.
