Ray Grady Frasure, 78, of Fenton, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, Michigan 48430. The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via Mr. Frasure's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. Interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly at a later time. Visitation at the funeral home will be 4-8 PM Tuesday, July 28; and 10 AM until the time of the funeral at 11 AM Wednesday, July 29. Those desiring to do so, may make contributions in memory of Ray to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.

Ray was born on January 13, 1948, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the son of Grady and Jessie (Murdock) Frasure. He grew up in Ypsilanti and graduated from Willow Run High School. Following graduation, Ray proudly served his country in the United States Navy Seabees during Vietnam. Ray retired from Ford Motor Company after many years working in assembly. He had a remarkable talent and passion for restoring classic cars and took great pride in bringing them back to life. More importantly, Ray was a devoted father, a cherished grandfather, and a loyal friend. His grandchildren were truly his pride and joy.

Ray loved spending time with family and friends at the lake, where countless memories were made. He was often the heart of every family gathering and the creator of many treasured traditions that his family will continue to honor for generations to come. His strength, warmth, humor, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ray is survived by his children, Ronnie Frasure, and Rachael (Jeff) Kolodica; grandchildren, Alex Powers, Kennedy Kolodica, and Cameron Kolodica; his sister, Patricia Bennett; brother, Don (Corky) Frasure; nieces and nephews, Thomas (Kristen) Frasure, Cindy Frasure (Jon Penn); many extended family members and close friends.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Jessie; sister, Bebe Frasure, nephew, Grady Frasure and niece, Lori Goodman.
