Raymond was born July 11, 1948 in Burton, the son of Raymond Leroy Freiberger and Lorraine Francis (Conn) Freiberger. He was a Veteran of The United States Army and had been stationed in Vietnam and Germany. Raymond married Lynne Michaelle Thompson on July 16, 1981 after meeting on a blind date in Germany over 40 years ago. He retired from the IRS with many years of service. Raymond was involved in The Cat Fancy.
Surviving are: wife of 42 years, Lynne; 2 children, Jonathan (Kelly) Freiberger of Texas, Jeanette (Paul) Vander Putten of Florida; grandchildren, Thomas, Travis and Evelyn; brother, Michael (Jane) Freiberger; several nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by, his parents; and brother, Tommy Freiberger.
