Freiberger, Raymond Roy - Age 75, of Burton, died April 25, 2024. Committal service will be held 1:30 PM Thursday, May 2 at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 N. Belford Rd. Holly. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of their choice.

Raymond was born July 11, 1948 in Burton, the son of Raymond Leroy Freiberger and Lorraine Francis (Conn) Freiberger. He was a Veteran of The United States Army and had been stationed in Vietnam and Germany. Raymond married Lynne Michaelle Thompson on July 16, 1981 after meeting on a blind date in Germany over 40 years ago. He retired from the IRS with many years of service. Raymond was involved in The Cat Fancy.

Surviving are: wife of 42 years, Lynne; 2 children, Jonathan (Kelly) Freiberger of Texas, Jeanette (Paul) Vander Putten of Florida; grandchildren, Thomas, Travis and Evelyn; brother, Michael (Jane) Freiberger; several nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by, his parents; and brother, Tommy Freiberger.
