Raymond Doyle SAMPSON

SAMPSON, Raymond Doyle "Red" -- Age 80, of Swartz Creek, formerly of Fenton, died September 29, 2012 at the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor. Funeral Services will be 11:30 AM Wednesday, October 3 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Rev. John H. Grantham officiating. Interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 AM until the time of the service Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to a family memorial fund. Mr. Sampson was born April 14, 1932 in Flint the son of Roscoe and Inez (Sinkhorn) Sampson. He attended Swartz Creek Schools. He had resided in Fenton most of his life. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had been employed by Halls Roofing and Siding. He was a member of the Fenton Eagles.
