SCHULTZ, Raymond Edward - Age 91, of Fenton, passed away, Monday, March 10. 2014. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd, Fenton. Pastor Dean Dumbrille officiating. Burial immediately following in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Trinity Lutheran Church of Fenton. Raymond was born July 26, 1922 in Watertown, WI, the son of Arthur Frank and Meta Louise (Ferge) Schultz. He married Ruth Maxine Moreau February 7, 1948 in Flint and she preceded him in death December 29, 2012. He was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He retired from Buick Motors after 22 years of service. Raymond had resided in Fenton since 1948. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Fenton. Surviving are: 5 children, Kenneth and wife Roberta Schultz of Otisville, Barbara and husband Dale Yurk of Fenton, Douglas and wife Lisa Schultz of Fenton, Steven Schultz and Leeann Zeffero of Linden, and Robert Schultz and Mary Wehner of Fenton; 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; sister, Jeanette McCready of Grand Blanc. He was also preceded in death by his parent, grandson, Eric Osburg, great granddaughter, Claire Peake, and brother, Kenneth Schultz.
