Raymond A. ZINK

ZINK, Raymond A. - Age 99, of Mt. Morris, died April 10, 2013. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, April 12, 2013 at Faith Missionary Church, 1327 N. Elms Rd., Flint, Pastor Rick Turner officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be from 10AM until the time of the funeral Friday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the Faith Missionary Church . Raymond was born January 29, 1914 in Flint the son of Seymour and Clarinda (Hinchey) Zink. He married Ruth Whaley on July 28, 1934 in Flint. He retired from GM Fisher Body working in skilled trades. He enjoyed pheasant hunting and fishing in his younger years. Raymond was a Christian and active in the United Methodist church for many years. Surviving are: wife of 78 years Ruth; four children Lawrence (Gloria) of Shelby Township, Donald (Joanne) of Northport, MI, Kathryn (David) Sands of Swartz Creek, Gerald (Diane) of Portland OR; 10 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
