Rene Holove

HOLOVE, Rene - Age 72, of Flint, died Friday, October 7, 2016. Funeral services will be held 1PM Monday, October 10, 2016, at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. The Very Reverend Dr. Jay Gantz officiating. Burial will follow in Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Michigan Humane Society. Rene was born in Bono, AR on October 27, 1943, the daughter of the late Earl and Vernice (Foster) Walton. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and flower gardening. Mrs. Holove worked for GM SPO Swartz Creek and Drayton Plains plants for 30 years. Surviving are great niece, Gina (Bradley) McMillin of Grand Blanc; great-great nephews, Evan and Garrett McMillin; niece, Cheryl Walton of Ohio; great nephew, Michael Walton of Lake Orion; friend, Tom Lewis of Flint; nieces, Paula Crabtree of WA, Phyllis Bassett of CO.
