Richard Engberg

ENGBERG, Richard Lee - Age 83, of Linden, passed away April 29, 2023. A memorial service will be held 4 PM Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Pastor Marvin Downs will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Argentine Fire and Rescue. Richard was born April 27, 1940 in Flint, the son of Lars and Hedwig "Hattie" (Makowski) Engberg. He married Phyllis Y. Warren on October 29, 1960. Mr. Engberg served six years in the Army National Guard and retired in 1992 from General Motors. Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time at the world class destination "The Shed". He was also a proud member of the Loon-E-Tick Deer Camp. He loved spending time with family and friends on the lake. Richard is survived by his wife, Phyllis; children, Stacey and husband Robert Wilson, Cory Engberg and friend, Rachelle; daughter-in-law, Patty Engberg; grandchildren, Kyle, Megan, Trustin, Trevor, Cody and Tanner; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Walter Engberg; sisters, Joann Suttles and Carol Wetenhall.
