Richard Philip GIBIAN

GIBIAN, Richard Philip "Cowboy" - Age 62, of Linden, died unexpectedly, Thursday, January 24, 2013 at his home. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 12:00 PM until time of service. Rich was born November 22, 1950 in Chicago, IL, the son of Walter and Miriam (Greist) Gibian. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War serving in the U.S. Army. He married Linda Helfrick August 26, 1999 in Linden. Rich has resided in Linden since 1996. He was a manufacturers Rep. of Gift and Home Decor products. He was vice president and served on the board of Michigan Gift Mart for many years. Rich was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved golfing and playing pool. Surviving are: wife, Linda; daughter, Susan Gibian of Pequoson, VA; father, Walter Gibian of Columbus, OH; 9 siblings, Diane, Eileen, Jim, Patty, Mary Lou, Peggy, Donna, Pete, and Barb; and many other relatives.
