Richard L. "Dick" Harris

Richard L. "Dick" Harris - Age 86, of Linden, passed away September 6, 2025. A memorial service will be held 12 PM Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Argentine Church of the Nazarene, 16248 S. Seymour Rd., Linden. Those desiring may make contributions to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Richard was born January 1, 1939 in Byron, the son of the late Sidney and Mary (Pelkey) Harris. Dick had a very full life, everything he did centered around family and community. He had worked as an apple picker in Montana, a Travel Coach bus driver, volunteer firefighter, paramedic and retired from General Motors in 1993. He was a Shriner and served as the director of the Elf Khurafeh Shrine Band. Dick had traveled to all 50 states. He was a member of Argentine Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Judy; children, Ron (Robin) Harris and Cheryl (Lenore Morgan) Harris; grandchildren, Josh (Jessica), Kyle (Brianna) and Mariah (Ben); six great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren, Madeline and Corbin; brother, Glen. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Sharon (Hartley); brothers, Kenny and Harold; great-grandson, Aiden Richard Harris. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
