Richard Machala

MACHALA, Richard C. - Age 75, of Lennon, died January 26, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday January 30, at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will take place from 2-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Humane Society. Richard was born November 1, 1941 in Flint, the son of Clement and Mildred (Cajka) Machala. He was a 1959 graduate of Owosso High School. After twenty two years of service at General Motors, he decided to leave and follow his dream of becoming a licensed car dealer and went on to own and operate Harrison & Kelly Auto Purchasing for the past thirty four years. Amongst his family, he also enjoyed muscle cars. He is survived by his children, Michael (Lori) Machala, Michelle (Jim) Robinson, Rick (Julie) Machala, and Monica Machala; grandchildren, Michael and Emily Machala, Chloe Machala, and Becker and Boyd Robinson.
