Richard "Dick" MAGUIRE

MAGUIRE, Richard "Dick" -- age 72 , passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013. A memorial gathering and celebration of life will take place at 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday May 30, 2013 in Flint at UAW local 659, 4549 Van Slyke Rd. A brief prayer service will begin at 5:30 pm. He was born in Flint on December 8, 1940 the son of Armand and Marie Maguire. Dick was an auto worker in Flint for 38 years. He enjoyed sports and outdoor activities like swimming, camping, and canoeing. He also enjoyed conversing with people and spending the winters in Florida where he could be outside at the beach and around town. Dick was a U.S. army veteran stationed in Germany in 1958 to 1960. Dick is survived by his 3 sons, Rick and wife Randi of Midland, Brian of Milford, Glenn and wife Heidi of Saginaw; 3 grandchildren Taylor, Johnny, and Megan.
