Rita Olmstead

OLMSTEAD, Rita Lorraine- Age 63, of Fenton, died peacefully Friday, March 25, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family and pets. Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Thursday, March 31 at The Rock Church, 11400 Linden Rd, Fenton. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until the time of service at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the The Rock Church. Rita was born May 29, 1952 in Flint to Robert Shepard and Helen Lorraine Raquepaw. She married Clyde "Michael" Olmstead in Boyne Highlands on June 23, 2001. Rita's family was her whole world. She was the owner of Ambulatory Resources in Fenton. She enjoyed spending time traveling, staying at her second home in Frankfort, MI., shopping, watching her grandson play baseball, helping others, and being a Navy grandma. She is survived by her husband, Michael; daughter, Heather Cardella; grandchildren, Christina L. (Paul) McGuire and Christopher Kitch; mother, Helen Shepard; siblings, Mike (Shelia) Shepard, Charles (Nancy) Shepard, Rex (Diane) Shepard, Scott Shepard, Lisa Shepard; and many nieces and nephews.
