STEVENS, Rita Arlene McBride -- age 89, died May 9, 2014 at Sterling House in Columbia, Tennessee. Visitation will be held 11 AM - 1 PM Saturday, May 10 at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN. Visitation will be held 10 AM- 1 PM Wednesday May 14 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Graveside services will follow at 2 PM Wednesday at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Rita was born August 5, 1924 in Flint to the late William McBride and the late Edith Hayward McBride. She was the wife of the late Raymond R. Stevens, who preceded her in death December 27, 1997. She worked as a technician at General Motors in Flint. Surviving are: her children Timothy (Kristin) Stevens of Spring Hill, Tennessee, and Linda Stevens of Flint; grandchildren Nicholas Stevens, Ayden Stevens and Krista Stevens; one brother Dale McBride of Flint, Michigan.
