Rita Taylor

TAYLOR, Rita Lynn - age 65, of Holly, died January 4, 2023. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Alex Bigger officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Rita Lynn Taylor memorial fund c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Rita was born August 15, 1957 in Ansted, West Virginia. She married Daniel Lee Taylor on September 10, 1977. Rita was a florist in the area for many years. She enjoyed puzzles, painting and woodworking with her husband. Surviving are: husband, Dan Taylor; four children, DeeLynn (James) Wright, Rebecca Ann (Casey) Hulstrand, Sarah Taylor and Danielle Taylor; seven grandchildren, Celeste, Deegan, Kirsten, Evelynn, A.J., Riley, and Jackson; two foster grandchildren; great-grandchild, Ellio and one on the way; siblings, Stella Wolford, Rose (John) Earley, Deana Goss, Francine Wolford and Franklin C. (Cassie) Wolford; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: mother, Drema Wolford; two sons, Charles Stewart and Daniel Taylor, Jr.; granddaughter, Angelina Ross; and son-in-law, Matthew Racke
