Tittl, Rita Ann - age 85, of Fenton, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026. Funeral Services will be held 12 PM, Wednesday, February 4 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Chaplain Hank Messing officiating. Committal service will be 1:30 PM Wednesday, February 4 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of service at 12 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or Dementia Society of America.
Rita was born February 17, 1940 in Bobingen, Germany, the daughter of Anton and Elizabeth (Mueller) Denz. She married Michael Tittl November 28, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA; and he preceded her in death on December 23, 2010. Rita worked as a Bank Teller for Huntington Bank, formerly 1st National and Merritt Bank. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Fenton. Rita was also a lifetime member of the United German-Hungarian Club of Philadelphia, PA. She enjoyed playing bingo, knitting, and cooking. She was a beloved wife, mother, and Oma.
Surviving are: her son, Michael (Lisa) Tittl of Fowlerville; granddaughter, Tiffany (Brian) King of Howell; and great grandchildren, Mikey, Raelle, and Bella. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister, Luitgardt Muhlbauer.
