ALBEE, Robert Grant- Age 71 , of Flint, died Monday October 7, 2013 . A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00AM Friday, October 11, 2013 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G-3139 Hogarth Ave., Flint, Father Robert Copeland celebrant. Burial will follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitations will be held 5:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday and 1:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to Swartz Creek V.F.W Auxiliary or Carriage Town Ministries. Robert was born October 10, 1941 in Flint , Michigan, the son of the late Vern Grant and Helen Ann (Mascko) Albee. He married Karen Sue Bensch on February 8, 1964 in Flint, Michigan. Robert worked as a buyer at General Motors for 30 years retiring in 1993. In addition to being an avid sports fan he was a member of the St. Pius X Knights of Columbus and a member of the Swartz Creek V.F.W. Auxiliary. Surviving are: wife, Karen Albee of Flint; children, David and Nicole Albee of Grand Blanc, Kelley Albee of WY, Dayna and Adam Dailide of Farmington Hills, Michigan; grandchildren, Jacob, Ali, Adriana, Aiden, Ava and Zander; sister Carole and Ted Addington of Grand Blanc; brother, Brian and Mary Albee of AZ; many nieces and nephews.
