Robert Bessolo

BESSOLO, Robert Dante - Age 61, of Flint, died Saturday, July 5, 2014. Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contribution to the Robert D. Bessolo Memorial Fund. Robert was born September 18, 1952 in Flint the son of Dante H. and Gwen E. (Selzer) Bessolo. He was a 1970 graduate of Flint Northwestern High School. He retired from GM Delphi after 20 years of service. Robert was a member of the U.A.W. Local 651. Surviving are: wife, Darlene Bessolo; children, Justin and fiancee' Courtney O'Reilly of Davison and Mallory Bessolo and Brock Beaman of Davison; grandchildren, Mateo Bessolo and Lilliana Beaman; mother, Gwen Bessolo of Byron; sister, Mary and husband Doyle Martin of Swartz Creek; brother, Rocky and wife Christina Bessolo of Burton; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
