Robert Carl Moore

Robert “Bob” Carl Moore, of Flint, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at the age of 71. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will take place Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of service.

Born April 18, 1954, to the late Edward and Esther “Juanita” (Ware) Moore, Bob was a 1972 graduate of Carman High School and retired from McIntyre’s Water Services in 2020.

Bob lived a life filled with many interests. In his younger years, he enjoyed scuba diving, motorcycles, and skiing. One of his favorite pastimes was working in the garage with his nephew Nick, always adding the latest features to his John Deere tractor and Chevy Tahoe. Of all his vehicles, Bob was especially proud to be the original owner of a 1977 Trans Am.

A man with a love of technology, Bob had a passion for computers and cameras. He combined these interests by becoming a certified drone pilot through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). In recent years, he especially enjoyed creating and sharing videos on his beloved YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/@skynet-1/videos

Bob is survived by his sisters, Mary Moore Nicolai (Jim), Jan Moore Warner, and Diane Moore Provost; his brother, Mike Moore (Maggie); and many nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, as well as extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; several aunts and uncles; and his brother-in-law and friend, Dennis Provost.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to his nephew and dear friend, Nick (Nikki) Provost, his sister Diane, and his niece Erin (Tommy) Thompson for their care and companionship.
