Robert Castro

CASTRO, Robert Jinx - Age 71, of Linden, lost his battle with cancer, Sunday December 25, 2022.  Per Jinx request cremation has taken place and a celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.

Jinx was born February 24, 1951 in Detroit, the son of Roy and Bobbie (Allen) Castro.  He grew up in Linden, was an iron worker by trade, an avid hunter, outdoor enthusiast, experienced traveler, master gardener, skilled broad jumper and all around Jinx of all trades.  He lived his life by his own rules, with no regrets and a lot of wit!

Jinx leaves behind 4 children, his loving daughters, Tiffany (Calvin), Tegan (Justin), Haley (Dustin) and Robert Castro; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Ray (Lee) Castro, Ricky (Barb) Castro and Ron Castro; and life long friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Bobbie Castro; 3 sisters, Rocky, Robin and Joni; brother, Rusty; and his beloved grandfather, Sam and grandmother, Violet.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
