Donaski, Robert John - Age 88, of Gaines, died September 23, 2023. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Gaines. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Monday, September 25, and 12-1 PM Tuesday, September 26.
Robert was born July 12, 1935 in Flushing, Michigan, the son of Alex and Virgina (Karkoski) Donaski. Robert was a graduate of Flushing High School. Robert served in the U.S. Army National Guard and he was a farmer all of his life. He retired from AC Spark Plug following 40 years. He was a member of the Durand Eagles.
He is survived by his three siblings, Genevieve Houston, Elaine Ransom, and Frank (Rose) Donaski; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Karen and sister, Betty Jean.
