Robert William Ferris

Robert William Ferris, of Fenton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Levine Hospice House in Burton. He was 60 years old.

Born September 15, 1966, in Mount Morris, he was the son of Wayne Elmer and Isolde Gerda (Samfass) Ferris. Robert was a graduate of Mount Morris High School. Robert was an inspiration and touched many lives, he never met a stranger and always tried to make people laugh. He loved his music. He had many trials in his life, but no matter how bad he always fought with the heart of a champion.

He is survived by his siblings; Wayne Ferris, Ricarda Taranto (Joseph), Shayne Ferris , Sabrina Spencer (John), Susanna Barrier and Diane Brueckner (Fred); eight nieces and nephews: Carrie, Wayne, Dale, Jenny, Kali, Joseph and Joshua, McKenna and Kayleigh and extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Cory Ferris, niece April and nephew Bradley.

Graveside services will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road in Holly at a date to be determined. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 5:00-8:00pm at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, MI.
