Robert Gill

GILL, Robert C. - Age 78, of Flint, formerly of Davison, died on January 1, 2015. Services will be 11 AM Friday, January 9, 2015 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly. Mr. Gill was born on September 19, 1936 in Pontiac, the son of Clarence C. and Veda M. (Wilkenson) Gill. Robert was a veteran serving in the US Army. He married Laurel S. Pearce on December 7, 1963 in Flint. He retired from Fisher Body in 1986. Robert is survived by his wife, Laurel; and their children, Robert Gill Jr. of Flint, Michael Gill of Grand Blanc; children, James Michael Gill, Joseph Clarence Gill, Jerome Maurice Gill, Jan Marie Gill-Elcoate, and their mother Ruth Janet Ecklar, all of Genesee County; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Thelma (Robert) Schroder.
