Robert E. "Gillie" GILLILAND

GILLILAND, Robert Emmet "Gillie"- Age 67, of Linden, died May 21, 2013. Funeral services will be held 7 PM Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Pastor Oliver Allbright will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Robert Gilliland Memorial Fund. Robert was born May 12, 1946 in Linden, the son of Philip and Doris (Morgan) Gilliland. He was married to Shelba Marie Whitten on June 16, 1967. Mr. Gilliland was a member of Calvary Bible Church in Cohoctah. Surviving are: wife, Shelba; children, Mark (Valerie), Treni (Randy) Dowd, Tina (Steve) Sherman; grandchildren, Ty, Brock, Maria and Coner; brothers, James (Luella), Ronnie (Barb), Arnold (Karen), Kevin; sisters, Renee Landers, Shelly Baker; several nieces and nephews; lifelong friend, Romey Goins. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lynn; brothers, Fred and Reggie; sisters, Phyllis Selby and Joyce Harper.
