Robert Paul McNEAL, Jr.

McNEAL, Robert Paul, Jr. - age 81, of Flint, died Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Genesys Health Park. Services will be held 12 PM Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Mr. McNeal was born December 31, 1931 in Herrin, IL, the son of Robert Paul and Stella Lee (Ward) McNeal. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. Mr. McNeal married Donna Alpaugh on June 22, 1984 in Davison. He retired from Grand Blanc Public Schools in 1995 as a Custodian Leader after 17 years of service. Surviving are: wife, Donna McNeal; six children, Debbie (Dana) Tonelli o fWI, Vickie (Gary) Alles of Cheboygan, Robert (Debbie) McNeal III of Belmont, MI, Tami Peterie of Burton, Robin (Randy) Hudgins of Burton, Tina (Steve) Robideau of Traverse City; three step-children, Michelle (Vance) Rancourt of Mt. Morris, Lettie (Raymond) Mizell of FL, Gina Middleton of Lake; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; five siblings, Joyce McNeal Bartlett of AR, Sharon Moreland of Burton, Jane (Mark) Johnson of NC, Clyde (Debbie) Young, Jr. of Davison, Janet (Ron) Dowdy of GA; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by: his father, Robert Paul McNeal; mother, Stella Lee Young; stepfather, Clyde L.
